Fisher sold the eight-year-old mare Euxine to F. G. Orr. Acting for the Sycamore Stable, M. Res-seguet purchased Margaret I. and Oddesa Hula from Oddesa Farms. Frank Podesta, who has Nonconnah and Jane Sweep All here in charge of Howard Hoffman, arrived from Louisville and plans an indefinite visit. Another visitor from Louisville is H. Jerrome Wells. W. J. Murphy, president of the Wolverine Advertising Company, is the guest of Judge and Mrs. William Kelly. Pat McCabe is shipping Dattner Stables Chalphone, Flying Lance, Blond Spook, Cuban Boy, Starwick, Wise Hildred, Trans-fin and Transtick to Detroit Sunday. Jack Hicks is sending Olo Mor along with them. Headed by Main Man, which will be under colors in the Col. Alger Memorial Handicap and including fourteen others, the powerful J. B. Respess stable will get away for Detroit Monday. J. L. McKnight has taken the call on the services of apprentice U. Hernandez for the Detroit meeting. Frank Letellier was unable to come from Louisville to saddle Southland Beau for his Hotel Sinton Handicap engagement and M. Resseguet looked after the horse. M. Dupuy has been engaged to train Wild Blonde for R. Martin. Jockeys C. Crowhurst and S. Vail had their first mounts of the meeting Saturday. J. O. Keenes Don Romiro, which was turned out after the Keeneland meeting, arrived here Saturday and will be trained by W. S. Rust.
