1 AURORA TURF NOTES | £, fc Word was received by racing secretary R. A. Leigh, Sr., from Harry Chopin that he is shipping the stable of racers he is training for various owners to Fairmount Park from Washington, Ohio, early next week. Bill Phillips, trainer for the stable of Sam Pershall, has agreed to take the three-year-old Head Gear, owned by Dan Hardy, to Fairmount Park for racing. Hardy leaves for Agawam Park Sunday. One of the most promising apprentice prospects developed during the Aurora meeting is the local lad J. E. Oros, son of the trainer. The youngster has ridden a good percentage of his mounts to victory at the Fox Valley track and will accompany his fathers stable 10 Lincoln Fields. 9. A. Fouts announced his resignation as trainer of Donna James and Whip Snake. John Flynn, who made application for a license to train, will take over the horses when his application is approved. Harry Murdock, East St. Louis turf patron Who entered the breeding end of the thor-Qughbred sport last fall, is a visitor at Aurora. Murdock has a number of horses Quartered at the Collinsville track at present.
