• 1 SUFFOLK DOWNS N0TES~T d, 8 Teeter Totter, having schooled to the satisfaction of starter Bob Frend, has given O. Foster permission to enter the Polymelian gelding. Jockey Johnny Jaekle, who broke his leg at Tropical Park, wrote to the jockeys at Suffolk Downs saying that he is coming along fine at the University Hospital in Miami. Under contract to C. H. "Tobe" Trotter, Jaekle expects to resume riding in the fall. Meanwhile he would like to hear from his race track friends. George Mayberry has made arrangements to send several of the string he has quartered at Suffolk Downs to Agawam Park to be on hand for the opening of the Springfield meeting next Saturday. Condition books for the Delaware Park meeting were distributed among horsemen at Suffolk Downs. Delaware Park will open June 8 and continue until July 9. A pamphlet, listing the stakes to be run during the thirty-three day meeting at the Hollywood Turf Club, Inglewood, Calif., was distributed by the racing secretarys office. The Pacific Coast track opens June 10 and runs until July 23. Strange Times, Loafer and Fred Almy are the latest addition to the stewards list at Suffolk Downs. Jockey Wayne Wright is expected from New York to ride Deliberator in the Joseph Tomasello Handicap, ,000 added midweek feature at the Boston course. Jockey Joe OMalley checked in from Maryland and plans to remain for the balance of the meeting. OMalley will have the mount on Accolade in Wednesdays feature. Freddie Scheih continues to set a merry pace for the riders at Suffolk. Schieh has already ridden twenty-three winners and his nearest rival is C. Bierman with fifteen. H. Keppler is next with nine, M. Berger and C. Stevenson are tied with eight and D. Driscoll follows with seven. George Alexandra is leading the trainers, having saddled eleven winners, H. L. Campbell is next with eight and then comes W. Booth with six, P. Bieber, D. McDermid and L. E. Ogle are tied with five each. Jockey Henry Mora has joined forces I with the stable of Mrs. E. Denemark. Mora, . one of the leading apprentices in Florida, was formerly with the stable of Townsend B. Martin. When Jockey Willie Duffy piloted Major Greenock to victory in the closing event Friday it marked the first winner for that lad since last autumn. At Rockingham Park Duffy suffered a broken pelvic bone in a fall at the Salem oval last fall during the closing days of the meeting. Jack Carter has arranged to ship six of his charges to Agawam Park to await the opening of the Springfield meeting. Harry Brusie is vanning Chance Queen and Sir Rose to the same point. Jockey P. Keester was suspended five days for rough riding during the fourth race Sat-j urday.
