Renick was suspended for ten days, effective Wednesday, May 25, to Friday, June 3, inclusive, for weaving in front of contenders, causing intimidation, in the third race Monday. The horses owned by E. R. Bradley, in charge of trainer Chappie Hastings, arrived from Lexington, Ky. The horses owned by J. L. Emich, in charge of trainer Stitts, left for Lincoln Fields, Chicago. Drift Along, owned by ; i H. P. Headley, was shipped to Louisville to | I fulfill an engagement there. The J. W. Y. Martin horses were shipped to Suffolk Downs to race out that meeting. Barry Shannon arrived from Louisville and will stay for the meeting. Horsemen were notified that the Saratoga steeplechase stakes close on Tuesday. Walter Carter returned from Boston, where he handled Clodion in the stake at that point. For the first time this season no scratches were posted for the afternoon. Jockey J. Bailey returned from Woodbine Park, where he rode the winner of the Kings Plate. Andy Schuttinger reported that he has eiht foals at Stromboli Farm, owned by Mrs. Vanburen. They arc by Sting, Time Maker, Neddi end Gino. Commissioner Doherty of Saratoga Springs was among the afternoon arrivals. Teufel, owned by the Wheatlcy Stable, and W. A. Carters Clodion, were returned here from Boston. H. H. Vosburgh, veteran handicapper. was stricken while on his way to the track, and examining physicians said that there was no immediate danger-. The horses owned by the Brandy wine Stable ere due here from Maryland.
