RUSTIC JOE, hustled along from the start, subdued BLACKSOD after five sixteenths, established a good advantage rapidly, increased his margin when roused in the drive and won easily. BLACKSOD took command at once, gave way when challenged, faltered rapidly in the last stages and broke down when pulling up. MAGUIRE, away slowest of all and outrun for a half mile, moved up fast in the drive and closed with a rush. HUSTLE ALONG, rank and away slowlv, was hustled to the inside for the drive and tired in the last stages. SWALE and BROADWAY JUEL quit. SWEEPING BOW moved up fast after five sixteenths and finished strongly. MISS AUFEW sprinted into a good lead, was put to strong urging when tiring and was unable to withstand the leaders. CHINESE RED worked his way forward steadily and held on after reaching contention. JOHN ALLEN, used up in the pace, was steered wide on the stretch turn and tired thereafter. MY LAWYER was outrun.
