HENRY CLOSING STAKES CINCINNATI, Ohio, May 23.— Charles F. Henry, who serves as racing secretary at j River Downs, Detroit and Thistle Down, has a busy week ahead of him. Nominations for ! the 00 added Netherland Plaza Handicap, | to be run at River Downs Saturday, close tomorrow, and on Wednesday entries close I for the Inaugural Handicap and the Col. Alger Memorial Handicap, to be run on Sat- ! urday and Monday, respectively, at Detroit, and the Decoration Day Handicap, to be offered at River Downs. The four handicaps are open to three-year-olds and upward. The Inaugural and Decoration Day handicaps are six furlongs sprints, while the Col. Alger Memorial and the Netherland Plaza will be I over a mile and one-sixteenth. Nominations for the Detroit stakes will close both at Detroit and River Downs, with the weights being released from this point. •
