1 AURORA TURF NOTES | s, * William Day, turfman and breeder, departed for his farm at Madisonvillc, Ky., over the week-end and will remain there for an indefinite stay. The horses he has here will be sent to Fairmount Park by trainer Luke Doriott. James Ilonin, track superintendent at Ak-Sar-Ben, arrived from Omaha, Monday, for a visit of several days, and reports that the Nebraska plant is in spic and span shape for the opening of the season on Decoration Dav. The stables of D. C. Wilhrlm. A. L. Gaal and C. K. Simmons got away for Fairmount | I Park Monday where they will be cam- I paigned during the thirty-one days of racing scheduled at the Collinsville track. Alex Schlenker, Chicago boy, completed his suspension of ten days for rough riding, with Mondays racing and will make his | return to the saddle Tuesday at the Fox Valley track as a full-fledged rider. Jockey Joe Dyer, who has been riding with a good measure of WCW at the Fox Valley track this season, left over the week end for his home in Carthage, Mo, due to illness In his family. He plans to return and resume riding on Wednesday.
