RESIDENTIAL BUILDING BOOM Residential building made a marked con-traseasonal advance in September, figures of the F. W. Dodge Corporation disclose. Contracts awarded last month for dwelling accommodations of all kinds in the thirty-seven states east of the Rocky Mountains amounted to 9,574,000, compared with 5,590,000 a year ago and 9,732,000 in August of this year.
