t RIVER DOWNS TURF NOTES f s s Jockeys R. Montgomery and C. Hanauer arrived from Fairmount Park. R. T. Shepp brought Mystic Sign and Travel Agent from R. J. Diensts River Divide Farm near Columbus, Ohio. Jack Hodgins ground crew will be Val Sulish, Wesley Freeman, James Thompson, W. Simpson, Joe Wood and Clarence Mackay. Jockey R. McCarty arrived from Wheeling Downs and will ride free lance. Jerry Bronnenberg unloaded Odd Star, Red Prince, Jimmie T., Frisco, Miss Marilyn and Glimmerlee, which came from Wheeling Downs. Jockey Ralph Klein is with the stable. Zump, Don Gomez, Lernana, Leaky Roof, Gentleman Jack, Maple Barbara and Barka Maid, the property of J. L. Goodwin, arrived from Beulah Park. A. Li. Casanova, who purchased Bga and Old Foots from Gus Simone during the Hawthorne meeting, brought that pair and Wild Oak here. The trio race under Mrs. Casanovas colors. C. N. Finch, Jeffersonville, Ind., veterinarian and trainer, has the largest stable on the grounds. Comprising thirteen head, it includes Chester Rose, Calawee, Military Miss, Respha, Kentucky Jane, Paul T., Bill Donoghue, Windshield, Temple Hill, Shan, Pat C, Stewart and Blue Blazer. The division of the Darby Dan Farm stable Matt Jordon brought from Beulah Park consists of Gold Publicity, Sophist, Palaska, Darby Du, Fair and Darby Darling. Dr. E. E. Watson returned from Fair-mount Park where he fired several horses.
