RUPPERT LOSES THIS TIME WASHINGTON, D. C, Oct. 11. Jake Rup-pert, brewer and sportsman, was considered a winner when his New York Yankees took four straight from the Chicago Cubs to win the worlds baseball championship, but he was a loser Monday when the Supreme Court denied his appeal for a review of a court of claims decision denying him a tax refund of 37,291 for the year 1918.
