DEATH OF GEORGE W. LEDERER George W. Lederer died in the Physicians Hospital in New York Monday at the age of 76. Mr. Lederer was a noted Chicago theater producer, manager and night life raconteur I in the era preceding the World. War. Lederer was a theatrical titan of Broadway and of Londons Strand years, before he settled down to become manager of the Colonial Theater, rebuilt from the ruins of the tragic Iroquois, and which occupied the site of the present Oriental Ttheater.
