HORNSBY BALTIMORE LEADER BALTIMORE, Md, Oct. 11. Rogers Hornsby, perhaps manager of more major league clubs than any other player, has signed a contract to manage the Baltimore Orioles for the 1939 season. It is reported that he will receive 0,000 annually for his services. Hornsby acted as a coach and pinch hitter for a time last year with the Orioles, but finished out the season as manager of the Chattanooga club of the Southern Association.
