1 ROCKINGHAM PARK NOTES $ A notice has been posted in the secretarys office offering Quick Action and Pavisand for sale. Most of the horses and riders quartered here will transfer to Narragansett Park, which opens its fall season on Thursday. Post time at Narragansett will be 1:15 p. m. Carroll Bierman will make, his last appearance of the year on the New England circuit at the Old Rock on Columbus Day. He will report to his new employer, B. F. Whit-taker, in New York on Thursday. Warlaine, Weston Adams three-year-old Man o War colt, has been placed back in training by trainer E. E. Russell and has been nominated for several of the Narragansett stakes. Word was received here that Jules Schar- man, who underwent a pelvic operation In a Pawtucket, R. I., hospital, is resting comfortably. S. A. "Dutch" Nielsen lost a horse Tuesday morning when Forrest B., suffering from an incurable ailment, was destroyed.
