LIGHTNING LADY was rushed up fast after the start and could not menace the leaders. MISS WHIM crossed over sharply after the start and caused some crowding. TWO CENTS began slowly. JEAN C. had no mishaps in the running. SPIRIT QUEEN was away slowly. CREAM CHEESE had no mishaps. LOISESTELLE S. was outrun. MERRY MEG lacked early speed. WHINCHAT had no excuses. EASIEST WAY was close up from the start while saving ground, responded in the stretch and outfinished ENFIN. The latter, sent up after the pace with a rush and kept under urging, faltered at the end. NIGHT BUD lacked early speed, but closed ground on the inside. PALLEE was a trailer to the slretch turn. LIFE GUARD moved up when urged and then faltered. HASTY WIRE had no mishaps. FOREIGN LEGION could not keep up. FRANK H. quit badly in the stretch. CROOKED LANE had no mishaps. SELDINA was outrun. ARMAGNAC quit badly. REDBREAST, slow to begin and outrun in the early stages, saved much ground entering the stretch and was in close quarters when SHOULDER ARMS was tiring and bearing in. The latter sprinted into a long lead and then quit badly in the final eighth. BE QUAINT had no mishaps in the running. COIL SPRING could not keep up. when placed under pressure. INSCOELDA improved her position from a slow beginning, responded in the stretch and wore down BLUE FAIRY at the end. The latter, in nearest pursuit of the pace in the early stages, faltered steadily in the final eighth. UNERRING showed a flash of speed, then quit. HISTORICAL had no excuses in the running.
