I JAMAICA TURF NOTES $ $ A meeting of the members of the Turf and Gridiron Club was held Wednesday night at which routine business was transacted. W. J. McMurray was on hand for the afternoon. He will leave for Fayetteville, N. C, next week. ! The horses owned by E. E. Fogelson and trained by W. R. Kanatzer were shipped to Laurel. They comprise seven gray horses. Rough Time, which finished with a flapping saddle in the Interborough, was returned to Maryland by his owner and trainer J. Y. Christmas. Joe Pepp shipped the horses that he had here to Narragansett Park for that meeting. George Conway supervised the shipment of the Glen Riddle stable, headed by War Admiral, to Pimlico for that meeting and the match race against Seabiscuit. Mortimer Stuart, at private terms, purchased from T. B. Martin the Flamingo Stakes winner, Court Scandal.
