EINSTEIN CALLED COMMUNIST DETROIT, Mich., Oct. 13. Professor Albert E. Einstein today was branded an active supporter of the Communist Party, before the Dies Congressional Committee investigating un-American activities. Walter S. Reynolds, Birmingham, Mich., chairman of an American Legion sub-committee, investigating subversive activities said Einstein, John L. Lewis, Harry Bridges and David Dubinsky were all supporters of Communists because of their sympathy for the Spanish Loyalists.
