NOGALO, hustled along from the start and forced wide early, was steered to the inside in the drive and outfinished UNCLE JULY. The latter moved up rapidly after a half mile, just failed to wear down the winner and bled when being pulled up. WILD BEAUTY sprinted into a long lead during the opening quarter and held sway under steadying restraint for a half mile, but tired steadily after relinquishing the lead. FROST BITE had a rough trip. GALLEY SWEEP showed a sparkling effort. SHAN lost ground entering the stretch. CH1LKAT began slowly and made up ground in the drive. ARNOLDS ACTOR showed nothing! RED GARTER, rushed forward on the outside, established a good lead before entering the final half mile, responded well when threatened and won with something to spare. HEDON, slow to begin and in close quarters for a half mile, came fast when clear and closed resolutely. SHERIFF EUGENE, hustled along from the start, was forced wide when entering the stretch, but came fast when straight. BLAZING SUN, never far back and lucky to find room when racing forwardly, tired after offering a bold bid approaching the final eighth. IRISH WAKE had no mishaps. RED PRINCE made up ground after being steered to the outside. EDITH WALKER was in close quarters. MILADY COHORT pulled up lame. Overweight Busy Daughter, 4 pounds; Mad Gallop, 2. COUNTESS FLORA, away slowly, but fast to reach her best stride, improved her position rapidly after a quarter, was steered to the inside for the drive, responded to strong urging when wearing FAIR down and outfinished her. The latter, rushed into a good lead during the opening quarter, was shaken up after three-eighths, swung wide at the stretch turn and failed to last. FYLFOT held on gamely. CUP DEFENDER finished strongly. ZUMP closed fast. DOMIWORTH was unable to keep up. KING RIB stumbled soon after the start and lost rider. Overweight Miss L. P., 1 pound. v Corrected weight Fair, 115. The latter, rushed to the front, set a good pace, was unable to withstand the winner and tired near the end. LARRY M., poorly ridden and taken back repeatedly when in close quarters, was forced to the outside after reaching the stretch and finished under his own courage. SCOUT LASS came from well back. ARBOREAL, hustled along from the start, was forced to lose ground early and established a good lead after disposing of VANTRYST, bore out slightly when tiring, was unable to withstand the winner and barely outfinished IDEAL FUNGI. The latter, unable to improve early position, was forced wide entering the stretch, came fast when straight and closed resolutely. MOON BOW MISS closed with a rush. FAIR FLAG came from well back. LADY WAUNEKA, hustled along from the start, was permitted to race into a long lead after disposing of JOLO and then tired in the drive. HUSTLING had no mishaps.
