TRAIN EXPLOSION KILLS THREE The boiler of a Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul freight train locomotive exploded three miles west of Elgin Thursday, killing three men and injurying two others. The engine was demolished and parts were spread over a large area. A great hole was blasted in the main line road bed.
