BILLS MARGE, away fast and hard ridden to open up a clear lead, was rated rounding the turn, saved ground throughout and held on well. SWEEP THROUGH, under mild urging, took up while racing between horses, improved position steadily upon entering the stretch and was slowly getting to the winner. JUST TINY, oh the outside of the leaders in the early stages, made her bid upon entering "the stretch, but tired. AZAFRAN lacked early speed, raced on the cxterme outside throughout and finished well. CYNICAL moved up fast entering the stretch and faltered. DONT DISTURB raced well for a half mile while on the inside. PROPHECY showed early speed, but was caught in close quarters. PASCUA was unable to keep up. BESS B. slipped through on the inside rounding the turn, raced to the outside in the stretch and, continuing evenly, wore, down WICKED TIME in the final strides. The latter, alert at the post and following in close pursuit of the early pace, faltered in the final drive. DON MOSS was taken to the outside and failed to enter contention. OLNEY was hustled to a clear lead the opening three-eighths, was taken under restraint while saving ground and continued gamely when challenged. DETECTOR worked way forwardly on the outside, was taken to the rail entering the stretch and finished well. VISCOUNTY lacked early speed, lost much ground and closed with a belated rush.
