I KEENELAND TURF NOTES b 8 Roscoe Goose sold the contract he owned on Nunzio Pariso, promising Buffalo rider, to the Valdina Farms stable of Emerson F. Woodward. Pariso rode his first winner at Churchill Downs this spring. He reported to his new employer today. Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Nash and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Nash arrived from Chicago to stay some time. They are staying at Shan-don Farm. Edwin A. Brown, president of the National Association of State Racing Commissioners, arrived from Seattle to remain until Sunday. He is to attend the dinner honoring Mrs. Payne Whitney Sunday night. Trainer Cliff Thomas was fined 00 by the Keeneland stewards for failure to report the horse Calumet Red for the first race Tuesday.
