SEABISCUITS WORKOUT LAUREL, Md., Oct. 13. Trainer Tom Smith of the C. S. Howard stable, had Sea-biscuit on the track at Pimlico Thursday morning during work hours and under the watchful eye of his conditioner, the five-year-old son of Hard Tack breezed five furlongs in 1:02, being eased up as he concluded the distance. The early fractions were :114A, :23 and :48. Seabiscuit was expected to be transferred to Laurel late in the day and receive his last short work Friday for his engagement in the Laurel Stakes Saturday.
