BLACKHAWKS IMPRESS TOBIN CHAMPAIGN, 111., Oct. 17. The World Champion Blackhawks took two practice sessions on the ice of the University of Illinois rink Sunday and on both occasions they were witnessed by President Bill Tobin. The new line of Larry Northcott-Russ Blinco-Earl Robinson, which was acquired from the defunct Montreal Maroons, showed a fine brand of passing, shooting and general stick handling during the drills. Any doubt of what the new men can do was dispelled and Tobin and the rest of the Hawks directorate appeared well pleased with the new combination.
