william Mclaughlin dies NEW YORK, N. Y., Oct. 17. William "Bill" McLaughlin, a veteran bookmakers clerk and club room attache, died at his home in Brooklyn, N. Y., yesterday, after a long illness. McLaughlin was in his early sixties and had been associated with racing the best part of his life. He is survived by a son, William, Jr., and a daughter, Marie, i Funeral services will be held from St. Vincents Ferrer Church, Greenwood and East 31st Streets, Brooklyn, on Wednesday morning.
