STOCK VALUES GAIN The market value of fifty representative stocks on the New York Exchange at the close of business, Saturday, October 15, was set at 7,536,097,625, which marked an increase of 05,579,125 or 1.77 per cent over the previous week. At the same time, twenty-five representative stocks on the Chicago Exchange had a market value of 41,-895,750, an increase of ,292,875 or .99 per cent over the previous week.
