BUDGE BALKS AT DEAL Jack Harris, Chicago promotor, was balked in an effort to sign Donald Budge, amateur tennis champion, from turning professional. Budge is demanding a guarantee of 00,000, but Harris believes his request is beyond reason, despite the fact that he may be the greatest attraction in the history of professional tennis. Should Harris sign the California star he will make a tour involving Vines and Budge this winter throughout the country.
