STAGEHANDS WINTER HAVEN - LAUREL, Md., Oct. 17. Col. Maxwell Howards Stagehand, hero of the 1938 Santa Anita Handicap, will winter at Columbia, S. C, with the other Sande-trained horses, and likely will be pointed for the 0,000 Widener Cup at Hialeah Park, said trainer Earl Sande here today. Sande saddled Colonel Howards The Chief, third in the Laurel Stakes here Saturday.
