1 NO FIRE ON QUEEN MARY NEW YORK, N. Y., Oct. 17. The Cunard-White Star line today stated there was "absolutely no foundation" for a widespread rumor regarding a fire aboard the liner Queen Mary, due in New York tomorrow from England. Officials of the line talked to the commodore of the Queen Mary on the radio telephone, it was said. He denied flatly 1 that any untoward incident whatever had occurred. -
