FINAL WEEK AT KEENELAND Breeders Futurity to Feature Final Program Next Saturday. Allegro, Olney and Third Degree Ready for Stake Await Word Concerning Eastern Stars. LEXINGTON, Ky., Oct. 17. With no racing today, officials of the Keeneland Association centered their attention on details for the final weeks program, which will be featured Saturday by the revival of the" Breeders Futurity, long the principal fall attraction of the old Kentucky Association track here. With a purse of ,000 added and paying its winner more than twice as much, the Futurity is expected to attract an unusually smart field of two-year-olds among the 185 horses still eligible. Three of the outstanding candidates which displayed marked ability here last week, were Dixianas Allegro and. Walmac Farms Olney, which finished a nose apart as the former set a new track record of 1:10 and the Greentree Stables Third Degree, which finished third in the Belmont Futurity. Other fast candidates also seen under silks here included J. W. Bells Steel Heels, C. H. Clearys Calexico, Calumet Farms Temulac and Detector, owned by Reidinger Brothers. Detector is one of the three Futurity eligi-bles entered in the Broadviw Purse on tomorrows program, the others being Hal Price Headleys Supreme Speed and John Marschs Lightscpiir, winner of the Labor-Day Handicap at Hawthorne. Several other eastern stars are expected here for the Futurity and officials are await-- ing information as to the intentions of Bel-air Studs Johnstown, Xalapa Farms Xalapa Clown, Calumet Farms Beau James, Joe W. Browns T. M. Dorsett, B. F. Whitakers Teddys Queen and other eligibles which have shown marked ability lately.
