I SPORTSMANS PARK NOTES 3 W. M. Mikel is getting away from here Friday for Shreveport. The horses he is taking are Chinese Empress, Bay Bane, Hekan, Goldstep, Mira Servant, Seven Up, Rocky Prince, Terrier, Rustic Lassie, John Bane, Bena Bane and Mira Bane. J. P. Ebelhardt returned over the weekend from Lexington, where he bought Oddesa Upset from the Oddesa Farms, for W. J. Lynch of Chicago. J. V. Pons sent Karl Mayers Million Bucks to the Mayer farm to be rested up. Pons will pick up the horse in November and take him to New Orleans. R. G. Ford is taking R. C. Groffs Be Discreet, Skotchy, Margaret Nadi, Sue Harpen and Play Light to Shreveport the end of this week. , , I . . l ! I
