MISS PITTYPAT GIVEN PURSE Prize Money Taken From Our David Because of Improper Weight on . October 12 at Cicero. CICERO, 111., Oct. 17. Sportsmans Park stewards today issued the following rulings: "The protest of W. I. Pultz, trainer of Miss Pittypat, that the horse, Our David, winner of the fourth race on October 12, did not carry his proper weight, is approved. The secretary of The National Jockey Club is instructed to award first purse money in this race to W. C. Reicherts Miss Pittypat, second purse money to McCamey and Deaners Princess Stone, and third purse money to E. F. Bennetts Legal Advice, as jockey C. Calvin, who rode Our David, had ridden forty 40 winners prior to October 12, and was no longer an apprentice. "For failure to notify the owner and trainer of the horse, Our David, winner of the fourth race " on October 12, that his apprentice allowance had expired, jockey C. Calvin is suspended for the remainder of the meeting, and the Illinois Racing Commission has been recommended to impose a further penalty of ten 10 days. "Board of Stewards, by C. J. FitzGerald, J.
