Won easily; second and third driving. BALLAD, closest to BOOTER Mc in the early racing, easily took command in the stretch and, drawing I out, won as her rider pleased. BOOTER Mc began fast and drew into a good lead soon after the start, but was unable to hold the winner. CYNIC QUEEN lacked early speed, but finished fastest. ZADRA made up some ground in the stretch. COHIGH was cut off right after the start. BLACK COSTUME had early speed, but tired. CRYSTAL COUNT raced fairly well. BLAZE OF GLORY bolted to the inside at the start and unseated his rider. SHORTBREAD followed TORNILLO closely under restraint to the stretch, then went to the front and, opening up a short lead, had to be shaken up in the last fifty yards to hold UNDULATE. The latter was in close quarters entering the back stretch, improved his position steadily when free and was gaining on the winner at the finish. TORNILLO tired after making the pace. CALAVERAS was in close quarters .on the inside early and again in the stretch. ROYAL REIGH closed a gap. DAY DAWN was done after three-quarters. Overweight Tenace, 2 pounds. FOOLEM was rushed to the front early and, after drawing clear entering the stretch, went out from the inside and permitted BROAD WINK to get through on the inside and was tiring at the finish. BREEZING ALONG was going well at the end. WEGOWAY challenged briefly while racing wide around the far turn, but hung in the stretch. MARY ALLEN finished well. LEE TORCH tired.
