SHELLEY OPENING OFFICE LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 15. The office of racing secretary William H. Shelley will be opened next week for the registration of horses quartered at Churchill Downs and Douglas Park. Blanks for this purpose were distributed and Downs racing officials arc eager to have them on file as soon as possible to lessen the last minute rush when many stables will be arriving from Keeneland. James T. Clark, local racing official and placing judge, will work with judgo Shelley in disposing of the registrations. Badges for horsemen and their employees will be issued as the applications are approved.
