EXVOLO, hustled along from a slow beginning, forged to the front approaching the final quarter and, responding to strong urging when drawing clear, won with something left. GENERAL R. sprinted into a clear lead at once, gave way when challenged, then held on well until inside the final sixteenth, then tired. SLAVIC worked her way up steadily and finished well. BURNING WOOD sprinted into a clear lead in the first quarter, but was unable to withstand the winner and tired fast near the end. BECOMING came from far back and finished well. VOTUM began well, was in close quarters entering the main course, moved up when clear and finished strongly. MISS JUNE BUG, hustled along and forced to lose ground from the start, tired. ARLINE was in close quarters. MAGNETISM showed speed. DR. HAWES and SPEED TO BURN raced greenly. COUNT FITZ was knocked back near the last quarter.
