V- : II JAMAICA TURF NOTES ! The Snow White Stable arrived from Florida and the horses are stabled at Aqueduct. The horses owned by Val Crane of Chicago ferrived from winter quarters, Louisville, Ky. They will be raced during the latter part of this meeting. The horses owned by the Short Brook Farm and B. Meaney arrived from Bowie jand are at Aqueduct. W. B. Gilpin, an attache of James Chamberlains staff, who is compiling jockey slips, just returned from an extended visit In England. Pete Coyne arrived at Belmont Park with seventeen head owned by J. E. Widener. The Shipment came from Elmendorff Farm, Lexington, Ky. Isadore Bieber returned from Rio de Janiero by plane. He reported he had purchased several Chilean- and Argentine-bred horses, which are due to arrive in New York, April 25. The horses purchased are Con-derico, Vero, Confiado, Alumino, La Parla jand Bernabe. Trainer Hirsch Jacobs arrived from Maryland and stated that he had sold the plater Rebel Yell to Louis Mascia at private terms. The plater will be raced at Havre de Grace. Jockey Wayne Wright arrived from Florida and reported to trainer Pete Coyne of the J. E. Widener stable. Algernon Daingerfield of The Jockey Club .Was on hand early to accept last minute applications from trainers and jockeys. Lloyd Gentry, acting for H. C. Hatch, Canadian breeder and owner, purchased the Argentine-bred Heleno. The horse will be shipped to Toronto for racing and breeding purposes. Bert Mulholland is at Belmont Park with fourteen horses owned by G. D. Widener of Philadelphia. The horses were wintered at Erdenheim Farm. Terry Farley arrived from New Orleans and issued badges to jockeys who had been granted licenses.
