HAVANA TURF NOTES I ft ; ft Former jockey Fred Stevens is visiting relatives in Havre de Grace and will remain for a few days before going to Toronto for the season. Dan McTaggart has taken over the engagement book of apprentice B. Everson who is under contract to C. P. Miles, Jr. Jockey Harry Richards who rode with good success in California during the winter meeting at Santa Anita Park, checked in for the Havre de Grace meeting. Charles Beal transferred his stable from the farm of Charles Becker to Havre de Grace. There were seven in the shipment headed by Meridian Time and Javamocha. R. Ingersoll will make the riding engagements of jockeys Raymond Workman and Charles Stevenson throughout the meeting here. Workman intends to get into the saddle in the next few days. Cyrus P. Clarke, who was a visitor at Havre de Grace opening day, brought word from Pimlico that J. H. Loucheims Pom-poon is training famously with the Dixie Handicap in view. Frank Christmas transferred seven members of his stable to New York early Saturday morning from Bowie. The horses were included in the shipment that carried the horses trained by J. P. Smith. J. C. Hail of the Arkansas Racing Commission arrived from Hot Springs and will take in much of the racing at Havre de Grace.
