I SHOWING THIRTEEN YEARLINGS Colt Judging Contest Begins at Noon Today at Keeneland Noted Sires Represented. LEXINGTON, Ky., April 20 Thirteen yearlings will be shown in the colt division of The Thoroughbred Club of Americas judging contest in the Keeneland paddock, Friday. The colts are by outstanding stallions and are outstanding individuals. Stallions represented in the show include Blue Larkspur, The Porter, Questionnaire, St. Germans, Peace Chance, Head Play, Bostonian, Equipoise, Challenger H., Halcyon and Mate. Owners who are showing colts in the event include J. L. Cleveland, Clarence Lebus, Hal Price Headley, C. V. Whitney, J. H. Whitney, Horatio P. Mason, Arnold Hanger, Greentree Stable and others. Judging of the yearlings will start at noon in the paddock, where the colts will remain until about thirty minutes before post time for the first race, when the youngsters will be paraded on the track in front of the grandstand and clubhouse. Walter L. Hunt, of Cleveland, Ohio, who won the 1937 contest by naming Sweet Patrice as his first choice among the yearlings, arrived in Lexington this afternoon and will be at the track tomorrow for the presentation of the first prize.
