"SUBS" NEAR NOVA SCOTIA HALIFAX, N. S., April 20. Four units of the British navy today received orders to prepare for sea duty in the wake of reports that foreign submarines had been sighted off the Nova Scotia coast on several occasions within the last week. Two destroyers, Skeena and Saguenay, and two mine sweepers received their sailing orders last night and today all four craft were provisioned and fueled. Presence of the mysterious craft was reported on three occasions. Crew of an incoming vessel last week reported a submarine had been sighted off the Cape, Breton coast.
