OPERATE ON SAB ARIEL LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 20 The three-year-old Sabariel, acquired by the Woolford Farm from the Three Ds Stock Farm at Oaklawn Park, successfully underwent an operation for the removal of an obstruction in his throat. The operation was performed by Dr. C. N. Finch of Jeffersonville, Ind. Although the colt will require eight or ten days to fully recover, trainer Ben A. Jones hopes to return him to racing within a month or six weeks.
