NEW TOP SOIL AT LATONIA LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 20. Tom Young, track superintendent, and E. A. Weidekamp, head of the mutuel department, were at La-tonia this week to supervise some work under progress at the Covington track, which opens late in June. A new coat of top soil is being spread on the Latonia racing strip and Young is looking after this work, while Weidekamp is attending to the installation of some improvements to. the public address system. Other improvements are also under way at the Latonia plant.
