TAKE NEW NOM DE COURSE Emdale Stable New Name of String Campaigned by Three Partners Six Two-Year-Olds. LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 20. The horses of Emil Schartzhaupt, Daniel Weiskopf and Leon Gerngross, who are interested in the I Orienta Stable, which campaigns in the I East, scheduled to race in Kentucky this j spring, will do so under the name of the i Emdale Stock Farm. The Emdale establishment, which gets its name from the first two letters of the first names of its owners, has six home-bred two-year-olds in training at Churchill Downs, under William O. Hicks, young trainer, who had most of his tutoring under C. H. Knebelkamp, mentor of the Orienta Stable. All of the youngsters in the Emdale string are by the stallion, Spanish Play, and from the mares Flydot, Winona Lady, Lady Aster, Mammon, Morning Fair and Lady Cotner. Hicks believes he has some likely prospects under his care and that all of them will be ready to inaugurate their racing here. Names of the two-year-olds follow: Spanish Ball, bay colt, by Spanish Play Flydot; Hard Loser, bay colt, by Spanish Play Winona Lady; Emdale, bay colt, by Spanish Play Lady Aster; Spanish Jewell, bay colt, by Spanish Play Mammon; My Mommy, bay filly, by Spanish Play Morning Fair; Stooping, brown filly, by Spanish Play Lady Cotner.
