Start good and slow for all but Parallel. Won easily; second and third driving. MR. BOSS, a forward factor from the start, assumed command at the eighth post and won with speed in "reserve. SHAGGY ANN made a determined effort all the vay. EURYALUS closed with a burst of speed and finished gamely. MONA ASSAGAI faltered under urging. BUDDING made up some ground. LITTLE V. tired badly in the last sixteenth. PARALLEL was practically left. The others had no mishaps. FRACTIOUS broke, down in the stretch and was destroyed. BLACK DREAMS closed resolutely. TRUJILLO was put in the last post position in the gate, but refused to break. The others had no mishaps.
