NO COMMENT FROM PRESIDENT HYDE PARK, N. Y., April .29— President Roosevelt adopted a momentary policy of silent watchful waiting today as sentiment crystallized in European capitals over German Chancellor Hitlers* newest territorial demands on Poland. There was strictly no comment from the Hyde Park house in answer to Hitlers Reichstag rejection of the Presidents peace proposal. The President and Mrs. Roosevelt were busy today entertaining Crown Prince Olav and Crown Princess Martha of Norway, first of the royal visitors to arrive for the New York Fair.
