1 JAMAICA TURF NOTES | $ = = $ The engagement books of J. Wagner and apprentice Farrell were turned over to Johnny Pitz for the remainer of the season. Case Ace, which was purchased by J. M. Roebling, has nine foals at Harmon Hollow Farm, Mt. Holly, N. J. The young stallion, according to recent visitors, stamped himself on his offspring. Andy Schuttinger reported that his Stitch in Time, and Lilt and Showemall, owned by Nelson Asiel, were bred to Pilate at Montana Hall, Virginia, and later were returned to Stromboli Farm. Bob Freund, who is here representing the Suffolk Downs association for stake events to be run this summer, reported that he had received encouraging replies from local horsemen. Dr. E. P. Kilroe of the local association, reported that if good weather prevails he would not be surprised to see new attendance records established at Jamaica. Jack Campbell and George Cassidy, outstanding devotees of motprboating among local racing men, reported the arrival of their respective craft from southern points. 1 L
