t BAY MEADOWS TURF NOTES | $ R. Stivers sold the distance runner Much Trouble to Dell Owens, at private terms, Friday morning. V. D. Opperman was an arrival from Caliente with the four-year-old Steel Jacket, the property of R. June. Borsodi, Spazz, Easter Ele and Bakers-town have been added to the stewards list. The Bay Meadows stewards have ruled that two-year-olds may have blinkers or whips as part of their equipment, providing they have been schooled in them and have the approval of the starter. Mrs. J. C. Sawyer has purchased the three-year-old Bosca from E. H. Beezley. Bosca was winner of. the first race on opening day. Torobang, The Darb and White Legs, which formerly ran in the name of Hudkina Brothers, will, in the future, run in the name of Ab Hudkins. Ace Hudkins will continue as the trainer. Mrs. J. C. Sawyer, the former Pauline Irwin, has been granted a trainers license. She and Ruth tParton are the only two women trainers on the grounds,.
