PREAKNESS WINNERS BLANKET PIMLICO, Md., April 29.— It has been customary to cover the back of the Preakness winner with a blanket of roses. The official state flower for Maryland is the Blackeyed Susan, which, very happily, blends with the official colors of the Maryland Jockey Club, yellow and black.
