Won handily; second and third driving. _ DING BIN, alertly handled, broke well, raced to the lead at once, but had to be shaken up in tha stretch to hold JOCKANA safe. The latter, well placed in the running, responded to good urging m the drive but could not catch the winner. PHALAMO, a keen factor throughout, saved ground and ran a good race. RED MAGIC was in close quarters during the early stages and, coming out for the drive, closed gamely. AMAZEMENT raced well and had no mishaps. RAPIDS BELLS had early speed. The latter raced to the front at the quarter and hung on gamely in the stretch, but could not hold the winner. PARLOR TRICK, away in a tangle, worked her way up through the field and closed with a rush. SAM K., far back in the early running, moved up stoutly in the drive and closed a gap. SIR BLACKIE lacked racing room for a half, but came fast when clear. LADY BROOK raced evenly in a good effort. TIBI had early speed. BUSYNITE broke slowly. DAVIDS BOY, taken into the lead at once and rated under slight restraint, for a half mile, drew out to win in hand. HEIDI forced the pace throughout and, saving ground throughout, could not get to the winner. PENNYCRESS, well up in the early running, was taken to the outside for the drive and closed well. BUCKS GEINE showed a good effort and closed some ground in the last quarter. DOUBLE DIP was impeded sharply on the far tnrn and failed to recover. ALF G. ran away for a quarter before the start and raced well. YOUNG DUKE had no mishaps. CENTENNIAL BOY, rank at the post, unseated his rider and ran away a mile, was placed on the outside for the start and showed nothing. ROSE K., far back in the early running, closed well and passed tiring horses in the stretch. LEANA G., well up throughout, closed a gap. MADDENING showed high speed for a half, but tired in the drive. DODLOO showed a good performance. NEIL JAY raced evenly. The latter raced forwardly all the way, saved ground, but could not catch the winner. LIVE ONE, a keen factor in the running, held on well, but could not menace the leaders. PARAVANT, away slowly, came to the outside for the drive and closed wclK TIGER JOHN raced evenly in a good effort. BUTCH showed a good performance. NYACK tired badly. The others were never danecrous. FIRE PRINCE was much used in making the _pace, held on well in the drive, but could not withstand the winner. SIS ROYAL forced the pace for three-quarters and finished gamely. FOB, far out of it for the first three-quarters, closed ground in the stretch. GENERAL BOY raced well for the entire journey. HIGH FIDELITY was far back throughout. The others were never prominent. ONWENTSIA saved ground when she slipped through on the rail on the stretch turn, but could not get to the leaders. CLOUDET and BRILLIANT BAG tired badly. DAME GRUNDY ran well placed the entire journey, but could not reach the leaders. MAD CAREER showed little.
