ODDESA KNIGHT, away well and on the inside, was taken in hand when in close quarters at the ■upper turn, moved up rapidly when clear, took command soon after entering the stretch, drew away steadily and won with something to spare and pulled up sore. VANWIND, rushed to the front, gave way •when in close quarters at the end, came again in the drive and finished strongly. ODDESA UPSET, permitted to bear to the inside when racing forwardly, established a good lead after rounding the far turn, swung wide entering the stretch and tired in the last stages. GIBBYS TORNADO raced wide early and closed with a rush. CLANSMAID was in close quarters for throe-eighths and tired. STANISLAUS made up ground on the inside. BROTHERLY was outrun. CANAPE unseated his rider and ran away three-quarters as he reached the post and began with his riders feet out of the -stirrup irons. ALMA NUGGET quit. DAHOMEY, hustled to the front through the field, gave way to GOOD SERVANT approaching the final quarter, regained the lead after reaching the stretch and was drawing away at the end. GOOD SERVANT, under strong handling from the start, forged to the front after a quarter, was unable to hold the winner and tired near the end. COLUMBIAS BOY, forced to lose ground early, was steered through the field and held on well. EVER AFTER, in close quarters until approaching the stretch, was taken to the outside for the drive and closed with a rush. DUCK STANS saved ground and tired. SATIATION, fractious and slow to begin, tired after reaching contention. ISARUNNER was outrun. INDIAN PENNY was done after three-eighths. Won driving; second and third the same. - WOWO, -slow to begin and unable to improve early position, worked her way forward after five-sixteenths, responded to Strong urging after reaching the stretch and got up in the final stride. FROZEN MASK, never far back, was rushed to the leaders after rounding the upper turn, wore down PELTER after reaching the stretch, but tired near the end and gave way in the final stride. HIGH ONE raced forwardly on the outside and finished strongly. CHANTING, prominent from the start, held on well. PELTER sprinted into a commanding lead from her inside position, set a good pace and tired after relinquishing the lead. BUDDIE TREACY saved ground and had no mishaps. TRANSPORT began slowly and showed a dull effort. PARISIAN MAID had early speed. POMPEYS PILLAR dropped out of contention soon after the start, was well back to the stretch, moved up-rapidly on the outside, ducked to the inside after reaching the final eighth and, despite continuing to bear In: to the rail, wore down the leaders to w n drawing away. EASY SAILING, taken in hand when outrun, improved his position on the outside and finished strongly. ALL LADY, rushed, to the leaders after an eighth, fok command entering the stretch and tired after establishing a clear lead. SHADYTOWN took command at the start, was unable to draw clear, gave way to TAKE ON and, after holding on gamely to the final eighth, tired rapidly thereafter. TAKE ON was hustled through on the inside to reach the lead shortly after entering the main course, was unable to draw clear and quit badly in the stretch. SANTAN and GUARANTOR showed little. HIGH RENOWN, hustled along from the start, drew clear rapidly after reaching the lead, gave way approaching the final three-eighths, but came again in the drive and finished strongly. THE GREETER, a strong factor from the start, moved to the leaders after a half mile and tired in the drive. EMPORIUM tired after reaching contention. GOLDEN SHOE made up ground in the drive. HALLIE, used up in reaching contention after a slow beginning, tired under pressure. SPRINGMEYER had early speed. MOON BOW MISS showed little. EASTERNER quit. OH FUDGE had early speed. MY FENG, never a great distance back, was vigorously handled after three-quarters and held on well. EBONY PARASOL followed the pace under light restraint, was shaken up after reaching the stretch turn and tired. KUEENIE was in close quarters entering the back stretch and never threatened thereafter. LIFELIKE tired after three-quarters. INSCOMIRA never threatened.
