1 CHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES I ® $ Clyde Van Dusen received word that the Latonia Oaks winner, Betty Dear, had foaled a colt by Blue Larkspur at his Few Acres Farm. Rush McCoy has completed plans to van Grit and Grace to the Military Stock Farm in Lexington to be turned out for the summer. In the same shipment R. O. Higdon will send F. B. Koontz two-year-old Lights Ahead forthe same purpose. L. B. Wilson, owner of radio station WCKY, came down from Covington for Fridays sport. Norman McComas, Benny Rosenthal and Charles Shulman were among the visitors from Cincinnati present Friday. Charles A. Kenney, manager of the breeding division of Coldstream Farm; Mrs. Kenney and sons, Charles, William and Jack Shackelford, arrived from Lexington in time to root for Elmer Dale Shaffers Ever After in the second race Friday. Jockey Charles McTague leaves Sunday for Woodbine, where he will report to the Conn Smythe stable for the Woodbine meeting.
