JOCKE.Y BEASY SUSPENDED LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 12.— The first suspension of the Churchill Downs meeting was ordered after the running of the eighth race here Thursday afternoon, when the stewards suspended jockey Harold Beasy for the r remainder of the meeting for rough riding while astride Merry Pete going to the clubhouse turn.
