t PIMLICO TURF NOTES * o . $ Trainer S. Veitch shipped the useful jumper Promoter to the Mrs. Lewis Park farm in Middleburg, Va., to be rested up for racing during the midsummer. Jolly Tar and Solar Flight, owned by. W. M. Jeffords, were returned to Belmont Park for racing. Both saw action at Pimlico. Matt Smart transferred Run By, High Velocity, Ebony Blue, Shes In It, to Suffolk Downs for the meeting that opens Monday. Edward Brining shipped Miss Epe, Sylvia; G., and other members of his stable to Charles Town, W. Va., to await the meeting there. The jumpers Temasee, Sapelo and Earn De Perse, owned by Thomas Hitchcock, were shipped to Westbury, Long Island. William Ray, father of the late rider W. Ray has had the firing irons applied to the useful distance performer Howard, which is now turned out at Beckers farm near Pimlico. Mr. Ray is considering disposing of the seven-year-old son of Rolled Stockings. Walter Wicks, owner of the useful Miss Fix It and jumper Valpuiseaux, has sent the pair to his farm to be turned out. Both were in sore condition. Trainer H. G. Bedwell of the A. C. C. Stable will ship ten members of that establishment to Suffolk Downs on Saturday. The shipment will be headed by the good sprinter Sun Egret and will be accompanied by jockey A. Shelhamer and apprentice V. Polk. Jockey Irving Anderson, contract rider for -the Calumet Farm stable, is scheduled to leave here Sunday for the farm, to report to trainer Frank J. Kearns. He will go to Louisville, Ky., later to ride, according to his agent J. Cuttriss. Thomas McCarthy departed for Toronto, Canada, to be on hand for the opening of y the Canadian racing season at Woodbine Park. McCarthy expects to return for the 1 — i
